Each year one full day is reserved for parent-teacher meetings. These meetings are scheduled at the close of the school year and provide an opportunity to assess the students’ and the school’s progress on stated objectives as well as the advancement of osteopathic practices. Refreshments are provided in a convivial atmosphere.
Date of the next parent-teacher meeting: TBA

Several open-house days are held each year and organized with the help of the faculty and currently enrolled students.

On these occasions, various themes may be addressed, including:

  • Osteophathic principles and practices, history …
  • Osteopathy Medicine: practice and profession
  • Future of the profession
  • Osteopathic studies (programmes, curricula, internal and national examinations…)
  • The Erasmus program
  • Student associations : Le COP Sportif (student sports club) and BDE (Office of Student Activities)

Prospective parents and students will have an opportunity to visit the college and facilities, meet our staff and speak with currently-enrolled students.

Open-house days for the 2007-2008 academic year are:
(all Saturdays) 15 March, 26 April, 24 May, 14 June, 28 June
The open-house days begin at 09.30.

Events are organized throughout the year by the Student Activities Office: EMO (Etudiants Marseillais en Ostéopathie) – Marseilles Students of Osteopathy

  • Orientation weekend for newcomers
  • Thematic evenings
  • Sporting challenges
  • End-of-year dinners
  • Motorcycle outings

The Student Activities Office (BDE) has its own Internet forum and workspace:

In the same spirit, though more officially, the Osteopathic College of Provence has developed their own Internet forum so that students can get in touch with alumni.

- Le COP sportif : Student Sports association

Le COP Sportif, established over 10 years ago, is proud of the students’ dependability and commitment.

The Osteopathic College of Provence sports teams include :

  • basketball teams (male and female)
  • volleyball teams (male and female)
  • handball teams (male and female)
  • a football team

The Osteopathic College of Provence male basketball team is a three-time champion French Schools Competition (2004-2005-2006).

Other individual sports activities include:
swimming, judo, horseback riding, boxing, snowboard, ski, sailing...

The Osteopathic College of Provence provides on-site medical supervision at various sporting events:

Humanitarian Activities

The Osteopathic College of Provence supports and sponsors the following humanitarian activities:

  • Raid Ostéo des Sables (cross-country desert rally in Morocco)
  • Food collection for the Food Bank
  • Participation in annual Telethon
  • Individual activities abroad during the holiday periods.
