Erasmus and the Osteopathic College of Provence

What is Erasmus?

Students who participate in the ERASMUS programme study in another European institution of higher learning for a minimum 3 months and a maximum one year.

The aim of the Erasmus programme is to promote and support the quality and European dimension of higher education.
Students do not pay extra tuition fees to the host university and credits earned while studying abroad are recognised by the home university and counted toward diploma requirements. The transferability of earned credits is based on the European Credit Transfer System (E.C.T.S.) and the personal commitment of the student to the participating universities.

Objectives:
To promote multilateral cooperation between accredited European institutions of higher education.
To support European mobility among students and teachers in higher education
Ensuring academic transparency and recognition of higher learning qualifications and standards within the European Union.
To promote educational research between universities, university groups, scientific associations and professional organizations on topics related to one or more academic disciplines or issues of common interest.

Who can participate?
Approved institutions of higher education (those who issue nationally accredited academic diplomas, certificates or titles) and state-approved private establishments.
