On August 9, 2007, the COP was approved by the French Department of Health, Youth and Sports, as a centre for teaching osteopathy and accredited for the delivery of diplomas in osteopathic medicine. As a private establishment of higher education, the COP is registered with the Board of Education of Aix-en-Provence (Bouches du Rhône), which entitles our student population to full student benefits (social security, complementary insurance coverage...). Five-year program plus one complementary year. Faculty members include university scientists for Basic Science teaching, medical doctors for medical courses and licensed osteopaths for courses in osteopathic medicine. As part of the basic training program, the COP trains students to the highest level of professional competency in osteopathic medicine. A continuing education programme helps students and practitioners remain at the cutting edge of the profession while providing better care for their patients. ERASMUS See Erasmus page |

The Osteopathic College of Provence occupies 3 buildings: 1 three-story unit of 600 m2, 1 three-story unit of 1600 m2 and a unit of 250 m2. Facilities include 11 classrooms: 8 are used for practice/theory classes and are equipped with computer stations dedicated to video-projection, 1 lecture hall and 1 room for medical imaging. On December 8, 2005, the Osteopathic College of Provence and the health care centre received ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance certification.
